Latex Caddis Pupa

A Latex Caddis is a slim, fast-sinking subsurface pattern designed to imitate the natural curve and translucence of real caddis larvae. The latex body creates a smooth, segmented profile that mimics the soft, slightly opaque look of live caddis, while a weighted underbody helps the fly reach the bottom quickly where larvae drift and cling to structure. Often finished with a subtle dubbing collar or sparse legs, the pattern is deadly in riffles and pocket water where trout key on caddis in their most vulnerable stage.

Fish the Latex Caddis tight to the bottom and tap the fly once mid-drift; the tiny bump mimics a caddis larva losing its grip, often triggering immediate eats.
