Jelly Rope Caddis

The Jelly Caddis is a unique fly pattern created by Nick Pujic, originally designed for targeting Great Lakes Steelhead. This innovative fly uses Jelly Rope material to mimic the translucent sheen of caddisfly larvae and pupae, making it especially effective in clear water. Its natural look and durable construction have also made it popular for trout and other species. Commonly tied in sizes 10-16.

Light-colored Stretch Cord, such as pink, light green, and yellow, has fiber optic properties that make the fly glow underwater. This makes the fly deadly for spawning-run rainbow trout, especially in clear water.
