Higa's S.O.S. Nymph, created by Utah-based guide Spencer Higa, was originally designed as a Baetis (Blue-Winged Olive) imitation but has proven effective as a general attractor pattern. The name "S.O.S." stands for "Save Our Skin," reflecting its reliability in challenging fishing conditions.
