Arizona Hare’s Ear Nymph – A variation of the traditional Hare’s ear. This pattern has more movement and weight to get down fast. It can be used as a searching pattern or to imitate a Mayfly nymph or Stonefly Nymph.

Recipe
- Hook: Tiemco 3769 or similar nymph hook, sizes 12–16
- Bead: Gold or copper tungsten bead sized to match the hook
- Thread: Olive, brown, or black 6/0 or 8/0
- Tail: Natural hare’s mask guard hairs
- Body: Arizona Synthetic Hare’s Ear Dubbing in dark or light colors
- Ribbing: Fine gold wire or tinsel
- Wing Case: Turkey tail feather segment coated with UV resin
- Legs: Grizzly rubber legs trimmed to size
- Thorax: Arizona Synthetic Hare’s Ear Dubbing slightly darker than the body
