Hemmingway Caddis

The Hemingway Caddis, a variant of the 1930s Henryville Special, was crafted by Mike Lawson specifically for Jack Hemingway, son of the renowned author Ernest Hemingway. This adaptation was tailored for fishing the Henry's Fork of the Snake River in Idaho

Fish the Hemingway Caddis with a dead drift through riffles, seams, or pools where caddisflies are active. For added effectiveness, lightly skitter the fly across the surface to mimic an egg-laying or fluttering caddisfly. Apply floatant generously to the wing and hackle to keep it riding high, especially in rough water.
