Description
The Crowd Surfer Caddis created by Colorado Fly Angler. Floatation and visibility were priority one when designing this fly. Quick to become an in-house guide favorite, this pattern stays up like a groupie swan diving into the crowd. This pattern provides extra buoyancy with it's double foam body and wing to go along with a hackled thorax.
Pro Tip
Fish the Crowd Surfer Caddis with a dead drift in riffles and seams during a hatch or lightly skitter it across the surface to imitate an egg-laying caddis. The foam body and elk hair wing ensure it stays afloat even in turbulent water.
