This fly’s innovative design features a tapered and curved tail, along with a breathing thorax, making it a lifelike imitation of aquatic larvae or grubs. Its materials, including feathers and dubbing for the collar and wing, combine to create a natural profile that is irresistible to bottom-feeding fish. The DMC is especially effective in still waters, where fish often root through the bottom for food.
