Description
The Caddis Poopah, often known as the " Super Poopah,” It imitates the coloration of caddis pupae, which varies but often includes shades of green, brown, or tan. Excellent choice for anytime the caddis hatches recently. Fish will key on these as they emerge in the water column. Fish them dead drifted on a euro rig or indicator and let them swing up to the surface at the end of the drift.
Pro Tip
Fish the Caddis Poopah near the bottom during pre-hatch periods, using a dead drift to imitate a drifting pupa. As the hatch progresses, let the fly rise toward the surface at the end of the drift to mimic an emerging caddis. Pair it with a dry fly in a dry-dropper rig to target fish feeding at multiple depths. Hook size 12-16
