Use a midge cluster setup – For more consistent success, fish the Bubble Gut Midge in a midge cluster setup with additional midge patterns above it. This allows for a more convincing presentation of the midge hatch, and the weight of the upper flies can help get the Bubble Gut Midge down to where fish are feeding on emergers and subsurface midges.
