This year: Fishing has been good to excellent on Big Spring Creek this April. Clarity has been clear. Fishing quality was good on the 8th, and excellent on the 28th. Access is worth the rod fee. On cloudy days, bring fine tippet, small flies, and lots of patience for dry fly fishing. When you can't find risers, creep along the banks and tight line nymph to big fish. Sight nymphing is more fun than bobber fishing. Midges have been active. Blue Wing Olives and Caddis have also been observed.
