Report Summary for Mar 2026

This year: The Snake River on Project X is currently flowing at 1060 CFS, offering good fishing conditions. These flows are conducive to excellent walk and wade access and are expected to remain around this level for the next couple of weeks before slowly beginning to rise towards summer flows. Anglers will find success focusing on subsurface presentations. Worm patterns, egg imitations, balanced leeches, and smaller nymphs have been particularly effective. Recommended patterns include the San Juan Worm, Eggstacy/Slush Jelly Egg, UV Sally Nymph, and Silvey's Balanced Sculpin.

Prior years: No prior years report for this period.
