Poison bomb

Inspired by his original Poison Tung, Craven designed the Poison Bomb with a more robust profile and even greater weight to cater to anglers focused on Euro-nymphing or dredging for trout in turbulent runs. The Poison Bomb is a favorite on technical waters like the Eagle, South Platte, and Gunnison, where precise presentations and quick sink rates are essential for fooling wary fish.

Off-Sized Provocation: Use the Poison Bomb in oversized sizes (e.g., size 10 or 12) to imitate larger nymphs during high water, when trout are drawn to bigger meals. Surprisingly, its flash and size often out fish smaller flies in these conditions.
