Description
The Bishop Dynamite, designed by competitive angler Brett Bishop, is the ultimate attractor nymph that combines all the essential strike-inducing features to grab a trout's attention. When Brett first tied this fly, his goal was to create a pattern that fish couldn’t miss, incorporating a range of "hot spots" and "triggers" to stimulate strikes, making it perfect for fast-moving riffles or deeper runs. What began as an experiment became a permanent fixture in Brett's fly box after it proved its worth during competitions, including the 2009 National Championships on Big Fishing Creek, where it helped him land several fish in off-color, heavily pressured water.
Pro Tip
Pair with Realistic Nymphs in Slow Water: In slower-moving water or when longer drifts are required.
