Anglers should exercise caution in the valley stretch as the currents are pushy and floats will be fast. Additionally, high afternoon water temperatures in the valley can cause the fishing to go soft, so focusing your efforts on the cooler morning hours is highly recommended to avoid stressing fish. Despite the pushy water, the fishing has been good and is already producing larger fish. Dry-dropper rigs, classic indicator nymph setups, and streamers are the most productive methods.
