This year: Haviland Lake is currently frozen or in the process of freezing over. While ice fishing isn't quite ready yet, conditions are developing, and we anticipate it becoming an option within the next week or so. Once the ice is safe, anglers can target both trout and pike. For trout, effective patterns will include Chironomids, Scuds, and Balanced Leeches. Pike anglers should be prepared with larger flies such as the Yard Sale and EP Pike Fly.
