Tim's Mysis

Tim's Mysis is a fly pattern developed by Colorado fly fishing expert Tim Heng to imitate the Mysis shrimp, a freshwater crustacean introduced to Colorado's tailwater rivers in the 1950s. These shrimp have become a significant food source for trout, particularly in rivers like the Fryingpan and Roaring Fork.

Don't be caught without this in your box. As Mysis die, they turn milky and then pure white. Carry patterns that mimic both live and dead Mysis shrimp.
