Purple Death Midge

Purple Death Midge is a flashy emerger pattern designed to stand out in a variety of fishing conditions. While it can be used to mimic the emergence stage of midge larvae, it’s most effective when fished just below the water’s surface or deep, much like a traditional Euro/Czech nymph. The fly’s vibrant purple body catches light and draws the attention of fish in both shallow, clear water and deeper, more turbulent currents.

Leverage Visibility in Low Light: The bright purple color is highly effective in low-light conditions, such as early morning or overcast days. Use it during these times when fish are feeding actively but harder to see in the water.
