Description
The White Fly Parachute is a high-visibility dry fly designed to imitate pale mayflies, especially during localized White Mayfly hatches when trout key on light-colored insects riding low in the film. Its bright post makes the fly easy to track in glare or low light, while the parachute hackle allows it to sit naturally on the surface. Simple, effective, and easy to see, this pattern is an excellent choice for subtle surface feeding and technical water.
Pro Tip
Ripple Targeting: Use this fly in small, rippling runs where its parachute post can remain visible even in turbulent water. The white post also mimics the reflective wings of mayflies in motion, drawing trout’s attention.
