Description

The Mercury Midge is a classic fly pattern created by renowned fly tier and angler, Pat Dorsey. What really makes this midge pattern deadly is the glass bead that really does look like a small gas bubble under water. This simulates the gas bubble generated during midge pupation that provides the midge a lift to the water surface. The Mercury Midge is a go-to fly when the fish decide they are not going to eat.

Pro Tip

When using two or three flies make one of them red it’s a deadly combo
