Lady Heather Double Wing – Created by Gary LaFontaine. This is a great, great attractor for those days that clouds cover everything, but there is enough light coming through so that everything isn’t a dark gray. It also works well in the shadows of canyon walls.

Targeting Brown Trout: This fly has demonstrated particular effectiveness in attracting brown trout, especially under darker skies. The white wing may play a role in drawing them from greater distances.
