Description
The Foam-Suspended Buzzer is designed to hold a chironomid imitation just above the lakebed or at a fixed depth in stillwater. The foam keeps the fly neutrally buoyant, allowing it to hover naturally while the slim body and ribbing mimic an emerging midge. This presentation lets the fly remain in the feeding zone longer, triggering confident takes from cruising trout.
Pro Tip
Slice the foam strip at a shallow angle before tying it in.This reduces resistance and lets the buzzer sit perfectly level, keeping the suspension point invisible to wary trout.
