Description
The Roberts Yellow Drake, created by Clarence Roberts in the late 1950s, is a classic dry fly pattern from Michigan. Designed to imitate light-bodied mayflies, this fly features a slender deer hair body and a prominent white deer hair wing post, enhancing both buoyancy and visibility. Its effectiveness has made it a staple among anglers, especially during hatches of insects like Sulphurs, Pale Evening Duns, and Brown Drakes
Pro Tip
Put flotant on the parachute and post only. The fly will ride lower in the water and upright.
