Hidalgo's Red Med

Hidalgo's Red Med, designed by Carlos Hidalgo specifically for Florida Bay redfish, has proven to be a highly seductive fly that also works wonders on striped bass. This versatile pattern incorporates multiple fish-attracting elements such as bright and contrasting colors, flash, and a buggy appearance, making it effective for a variety of species. The fly features weighted eyes, allowing it to be fished in a jig-like fashion, sinking quickly to the bottom of the water column where it can effectively attract fish.
