Description
Matt’s Midge was created by Matt Miles from Colorado in 1999. It is a single midge pattern, the poly split wing sticks up off the hook which makes it a lot easier to see on the water even in the smallest of sizes. This is one of the deadliest midge dry patterns there is. It can be used as a single midge pattern and the trout might also take it as a cluster when it's in a larger size.
Pro Tip
A great imitation of adult midges returning to the water to lay eggs, it works great on the East Coast in the winter months. It should be in every anglers flybox.
