Use a soft-hackle presentation – To enhance the effectiveness of the Biot Midge Emerger, use a very subtle twitch or drag-free drift. You can experiment with a very slight lift of the rod to simulate the midge's upward motion toward the surface, allowing the fly to imitate a struggling emerger.
