Water Walker

The Water Walker, developed by Wyoming guide and fly-shop owner Will Dornan, is a versatile dry fly pattern designed to imitate adult stoneflies, particularly those found in the Snake River Valley. Its slender body and low-riding profile closely mimic natural stoneflies, making it highly effective in attracting trout. The fly's buoyant construction allows it to float well, even in turbulent waters.

Skating Technique for Stonefly Hatches: During active stonefly hatches, twitch the Water Walker slightly as it drifts across the surface to mimic the erratic movements of a struggling adult stonefly.
