The Schultz's Sculpin, designed by Michigan-based fly tyer Mike Schultz, is a robust sculpin imitation crafted to entice predatory fish such as trout and bass. Constructed primarily with rabbit strips for the tail and overbody, this articulated streamer features minimal flash, rubber legs for added movement, and dumbbell eyes to ensure it sinks swiftly to the bottom, effectively mimicking the natural behavior of sculpins.

Upstream Dead Drift Cast the Schultz's Sculpin upstream and allow it to drift naturally with the current, keeping slack out of the line to maintain contact. This technique replicates a sculpin being swept downstream, appealing to trout waiting to ambush prey.
