Robin's Anchovy

Robin’s Anchovy is a flashy saltwater baitfish imitation designed to mimic the frantic movement and reflective shimmer of anchovy schools when under attack. It excels in situations where predatory fish—such as stripers or bluefish—are pushing bait toward the surface. The pattern was inspired by Dan Blanton’s Sar Mul Mac, borrowing its flashy profile and motion-oriented design. Robin’s Anchovy captures the darting and leaping nature of fleeing anchovies, particularly under strong sunlight, when their silver sides reflect brilliant flashes that trigger predatory strikes.

Use in open water near bait balls or surface busts; this pattern’s flash and movement make it visible and effective even in chaotic feeding frenzies.
