Mature Damsel Nymph image

Description

The Mature Damsel Nymph. A terrific pattern that imitates the stage right before they emerge into adults. The fully developed damselfly nymph leaves the protection of its habitat and swims to patches of vegetation. Once reaching the plant stalks the nymphs crawl out of the water. Their exoskeleton dries and splits open allowing the adult to crawl out.

Pro Tip

Use a floating line with a short leader to work shallow areas near the shoreline.
