Adjust Retrieve Speed for Water Conditions: In clear waters or when fishing in heavily pressured areas, slow down your retrieve to make the fly's movement more subtle and natural. In murkier or choppy water, speed up the retrieve to create a stronger surface disturbance and draw fish in from a greater distance.
