Description

The Lightning Bug, created in 1992 by Larry Graham of Kirkland, Washington, was originally designed for use on the Yakima River, targeting fish with its flashy, attention-grabbing design. The pattern was intended to reflect the natural colors of the water and streambed while incorporating a substantial amount of flash to attract fish. Its quick sink rate and iridescent body make it effective in a variety of conditions, particularly in waters with moderate to fast current.

Pro Tip

Use in Riffles and Fast Currents: The Lightning Bug excels in fast-moving water, particularly riffles and runs. Its flashy body and quick sink rate make it ideal for areas where fish are feeding on nymphs drifting in the current.
