Nealley’s Green Drake, created by Umpqua Signature Tyer Alan Nealley, is a masterfully designed fly aimed at imitating the iconic Green Drake during its dun stage. Nealley tailored this pattern for both functionality and realism, incorporating features to withstand varying water conditions and provide a natural presentation. Initially conceived for Eastern rivers like the Delaware, its buoyant design, precise segmentation, and upright wings have also proven effective in Western rivers where Green Drakes emerge in abundance.
