The Flip Flop, designed by renowned fly tier Charlie Craven, is a bonefish pattern that has gained popularity, especially in the Bahamas. This fly features a slightly wider body and medium bead chain eyes, allowing it to land softly—ideal for targeting tailing fish in shallow waters. The incorporation of "creepy legs," similar to those in Craven's Bonefish Junk pattern, adds subtle movement, enhancing its effectiveness in enticing bonefish.

"Ghost Retrieve" Technique: Use an exaggeratedly slow retrieve combined with gentle rod twitches to mimic a barely-alive crustacean struggling on the bottom. This approach is especially effective when fish are wary and inspecting flies without striking.
